Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Kate's Fantasy Events. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which comply with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and govern the provision of our fantasy-themed children’s party services in Sydney, NSW.

1. Services

Kate's Fantasy Events provides fully organised children’s parties with themed decorations, including marquee hire, tables and chairs, balloon garlands, backdrops, and photo props, as detailed on our Services page.

2. Booking Process

• Theme Selection: You choose a theme (Ancient Forest, Gothic, Harry Potter, or custom) and discuss details such as guest numbers, package options, date, time, and venue.

• Pricing: Prices vary based on the venue location and package selected. A quote will be provided upon inquiry.

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (50% of the total cost, unless otherwise agreed) is required to secure your booking.

• Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event to cover all costs.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event are eligible for a full refund of the deposit, minus a $50 administration fee.

• Cancellations made 15–29 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund of the deposit.

• No refunds are available for cancellations within 14 days of the event or for non-attendance.

• If we cannot provide the service due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund as per ACL guarantees.

4. Event Day for Full Setup Package

• We arrive early in the morning to set up all elements (marquee, decorations, etc.) and remain on-site to ensure a seamless and safe event.

• We are not liable for injuries or damages caused by guests or third parties during the event. Clients must ensure the venue is safe and accessible.

• All staff hold valid Working with Children Checks (WWCC) as required by NSW law.

• Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.

5. Liability and Safety

• Kate's Fantasy Events holds public liability insurance to cover our services.

• We reserve the right to refuse service if the venue is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

6. Intellectual Property

• All designs, decorations, and themes created by Kate's Fantasy Events remain our intellectual property. Photos taken during events may be used for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved under ACL and NSW jurisdiction.
